Your Elo rating changes based on game outcomes. Winning against higher-rated opponents gains more points, while losing to lower-rated opponents loses more points. Each time control (Blitz, Rapid, Classical) has separate ratings.
Tournaments run daily, weekly, and monthly. Simply play ranked games during the tournament period - all your games automatically count toward the leaderboard. The more you win, the higher you rank!
Yes! You can play against AI opponents or use Pass & Play mode for local multiplayer without an internet connection.
Go to the Friends tab, search for your friend's username, send a friend request, and once accepted, you can challenge them directly to a match.
The doubling cube lets you increase the stakes of a match. When you think you have an advantage, you can offer to double the points. Your opponent can accept (and gain ownership of the cube) or resign and forfeit the current stake.

Disconnections can happen due to network issues. If you disconnect, you have a short window to reconnect. If you don't reconnect in time, the game may be forfeited. Make sure you have a stable internet connection for online play.
